Dr. Lox Presents at The World Stem Cell Summit
Dennis M. Lox, MD, a Regenerative Medicine specialist in the Tampa Bay Florida area, attended and presented his findings at the 2102 World Stem Cell Summit, in West Palm Beach Florida.
Dr. Lox presented his findings on functional outcomes after stem cell therapy. The Stem Cell Summit, provides an opportunity for researchers, clinicians and those interested in promoting stem cell advances to gather and exchange information. Recent findings in several key areas of stem cell research were presented. The rapid emergence of stem cell therapy into many different medical fields continues to exponentially escalate as advances continue to made.
Multiple methods of harvesting stem cells from bone marrow, adipose tissue, cord blood, and newer technologies such as the Nobel Prize winning induced pluripotent stem cells were discussed. Many new discoveries are continuing to emerge that may provide clinical translation to benefit many disease processes in the future. Dr. Lox is involved with regenerative applications in musculoskeletal repair. This includes athletic injuries in all avenues of sports medicine, and the utilization of these treatments in arthritis modulation.
