Tampa Bay Football Buc Player on News, Shelter at Home with No Work Out Equipment
Dennis M. Lox, M.D watched NBC News as one of the Tampa Bay Bucs Football Players, described his dilemma, sheltering at home with no weights or exercise equipment. Dr. Lox did not catch his name. However, Quarterback Tom Brady just signed. Let’s do our part as a community. A friend and patient Steve Weintraub and his wife Julie are running spots as Public Service Announcements. They and their wonderful high-end Jewelry store The Gold and Diamond Source are running Pubic Service Announcements and they do so much for our community with their charity work, Dr. Lox a long time athlete and exercise specialist acted.
Dr. Lox called NBC, who in turn tried to reach the athlete. With most studios closed and shoots done remote or in anchors homes, things move slow.
Dr. Lox reached out to former Buc and NFL Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks, and Ian Beckles who is now a cohort of iheart Sports Radio with Ron Diaz. Both are friends and patients of Dr. Lox. After a series of pictures were exchanged of a smith machine and exercise bike, Derrick made a call to the Tampa Bay Bucs Athletic trainer.
All successful calls. Nice to see the community support our Football team and most everyone wants to help each other. Good people do, and the world is a better place for it. Since that week, now Rob Gronkowski is reunited with Tom Brady, as a new member of the Tampa Bay Bucs. Certainly, it seems like things are coming up bright for Tampa Bay. Exciting times to be positive, and be thankful for the good things in a difficult time.
So let’s all work together, be kind, and Stay Healthy.
We all can make this difficult time a better world to live in, just put a smile on someone in needs face… it will come back to you or your family.
It did mine.
