Puerto Rican Flys to Have Knee Stem Cell Therapy

A 70-year women from Puerto Rico who learned of Dennis M. Lox, M.D., from a relative flew to have a consultation and stem cell treatment with Dr. Lox on her knee.

The patient had ignored nagging knee problems until the pain, stiffness and diminishing activities of daily living made her quality of life miserable.

She had moderate knee arthritis, and Dr. Lox explained the procedure in great detail. She wished to proceed with knee stem cell treatment as she wished to avoid total knee joint replacement.

She was somewhat anxious prior to starting the procedure. This is a common occurrence. Dr. Lox reassures his patients it is simple and relatively pain-free, however, the fear of the unknown often created creates mild anxiety until they actually experience the stem cell treatment for themselves.
