Professional BMX Racer Finds the Zone

Headstrong Athlete Takes 3rd in Elite Competition
For some athletes, an injury can end a career. Not only does it wear them down physically, the mental psych of settling for less kicks in.
This was not the case for Professional BMX Racer and successful model Will Grant.
Will has raced all around the world and has earned many sponsorships due to his success. But not all was divine for Will.
An injury at age 12, forced Will to have his first surgery for ACL and knee meniscal repair. Then, in his twenties, he suffered a similar injury forcing him to spend months with crutches.
Will Did His Research
Even after the surgery, Will’s knee was not improving. This time, instead of opting for another surgery, he sought for an alternative solution.
He spent time researching his options, as well as available doctors to consult him on his knee problems. His research led him to stem cell expert, Dennis M. Lox, M.D. Dr. Lox, who has worked with NFL Hall-of-Famer Derrick Brooks and NFL pro-turned-radio personality Ian Beckles, has proven his success with professional athletes and was Will’s top choice.
In 2018, after a consultation with Dr. Lox, Will visited the Clearwater office for knee stem cell therapy. He even brought his camera crew to document the stem cell process, which is one of Will’s top videos on his YouTube channel with over 22,000 views.
Getting in “The Zone”
Dr. Lox and Will share the same passion for the book Enter The Zone, by Barry Sears. In the book, Barry Does offers a practical introduction to “the Zone”, a place of peak mental acuity.
After Will’s procedure with Dr. Lox, he entered the Zone. He followed the post-procedure instructions given by Dr. Lox and gradually worked on strengthening his knee. He even asked if he needed to see a sports psychologist to which Dr. Lox replied, “No need for that, Will. You’re in the Zone.”
Will believed in himself and directed his focus to success. He did not settle for his already accomplished BMX career. He wanted more, so he kept his focus on the gold. He continuously documents his stem cell progress as well his lifestyle routines to keep him in the Zone.
Recently, Will reached out to Dr. Lox with a picture of him winning 3rd place in a prestigious Sarasota Professional BMX Race. His hard work is starting to show that he is really in the Zone.
