Petros was the captain of the USC football team his senior year. His position was tailback. Running backs get hit hard, and multiple injuries are commonplace.
Petros Papadakis injury was his foot. Despite conservative treatment it persisted. He played most of his senior year in pain. It certainly had an effect on his performance, so much so his college to professional football ranks dream was cut short. Luckily, his gift was his intelligence, quick wit, and a sports broadcasting career was born.
