My Knees Improved So Much 72 year old Decides to Go for More Stem Cells
Most patients who undergo knee stem cell treatment with Dennis M. Lox, MD, are happy to get improvement, especially if they are over 70. It was not necessary from a medical standpoint as he was very happy with his level of functioning after the knee stem cell therapy. His knee pain, swelling, and stiffness had diminished. He could walk without pain.
He wanted to see if he could do even better and add more stress exercise. This is a complicated topic and must be individualized for each patient. Not all patients need to do this, and certainly, if they are happy with the results it is not needed. Dr. Lox faces this issue more with athletic issues. Obtaining peak performance and rerun to the sport are functional goals are athletes wish to meet.
This particular 72-year-old was thinking with a sports medicine or athletic frame of reference, and therefore his goals may be modified accordingly. So far he keeps improving and his goal is to remain active and physically fit into his 80’s and beyond. A goal truly worthy of paying attention to.
