Australian Soccer Player with Foot AVN Consults Dr. Lox

An Australian soccer player consulted Dennis M. Lox M.D., for avascular necrosis (AVN) of his navicular bone. He was not given optimistic options, core decompression, fusion of his foot, and to quit playing soccer.
Core Decompression and AVN
He underwent core decompression, which he stated hurt for months, but overall did not change his foot pain. He further researched AVN, and found Dr. Lox has extensive experience in treating patients with AVN, including athletes.
A new MRI was ordered to see any change in his condition, and he began making arrangements to travel from Australia to the US to treat with Dr. Lox.
