We in the medical and science communities originally thought stem cells were simply cells capable of turning into another cell. Now we understand there is a vast array of cells. These cells are capable of doing immune regulation, anti-inflammation and regeneration – which is of particular interest for athletes and those with ailments that have been typically treated with invasive surgery . Truly amazing feats have already happened in the field and will continue.
